Ok i Need advice.

I have started to talk with 2 different dealers about Trading my 2018 JLUR fully loaded with Trail Mods On A JTR . The dealers do not want to bend to much on Rubicons price. But the others Sport and Overland are not selling as well. My question is what discount off of list should i be getting and what you think my JLU is worth on trade or should i sell private. If i buy from same dealer i would take my bumper winch and tires and switch with the Gladiator I already spoke with the dealer and they would be willing to do that as they would like my jeep more stock.
So what should i do and how much should i pay.

Try to sell outright if you can. If you can’t, go to NADA.com and find trade in values. Also search Facebook marketplace, craigslist, and cars.com for similar wranglers.

Look within a hundred mile radius and send some feeler emails out to any dealers that might have what you’re looking for.

At minimum you can go the tread lightly route and get 1% below invoice if you want to go with a rubicon.

A good deal would be about 12% under MSRP. I got just about 11% on my Rubicon.

You will always get a little more cash out of selling it outright privately. BUT, you may find that tax benefits may be beneficial on a trade (if your state does that) and shows the final number being close to the same without the hassle of selling it yourself. Each deal is different!
