it required you to include the LED lighting package upgrade for an additional $1K. For that kind of money you can get a aftermarket winch capable bumper and winch. Ive gone through the forums and have read that though the LED option cost may not seem justifiable, the LED's are literally night and day difference from the standard bulb performance, so i was expecting to bite the bullet and accept added option.
LED headlights will change your life. My wife's Mazda has them, and when it came time to order the Gladiator, they were a must-have for me. It's possible that you can cobble together an aftermarket solution for less money, but I liked the 3-year warranty, factory engineering, and the fact that these lights, harnesses, etc were engineered to work with all the other factory electronics.

I will probably stick with the LED option for convenience and longevity. Now, I just need to figure out a bumper upgrade with integrated winch mount. I’m leaning smittybuilt X2O 12K. Warn tops the list for durability, but smitty comes in at a happy medium for cost and performance for piece of mind. I liked the MOPAR option for its modular abilities, but now I’m stuck wondering stubby or full width ‍♂

So...You can get the manual and the cold weather group together with an Overland, but you can't have both on a Sport S.

Also...with the Sport S, adding the cold weather group deletes the dual top option, but the cold weather group does not delete the dual top option on an Overland

I am sure that there is a bug in the configurator, but I sure would like a MT with dual tops and heated seats.

They need to update when you configure the Punk'n Rubicon with the black cloth or black leather seats the dash will be silver not red.

Over in the lighting sub forum, the oracle bi-led headlights are around $500 and look like they might have an even clearer cut off. I’m planning on getting the active safety group which already includes the led taillights.

Really disappointed in the heated seat option with a manual. I’ve been finding suitable aftermarket alternatives for LED’s and radio, but I really wanted the heated seats to be OEM.

Ive been waiting for 9/16 ish for the Gator Clear to be available on special order and have done a Jeep website JTR build nearly every day since May. Im just getting back from overseas and sat down to do my daily build, and noticed the winch capable bumper is no longer offered as an option. That bumper was a nice feature, but still required a $300+ winch bracket and another downside with the winch capable bumper option was it required you to include the LED lighting package upgrade for an additional $1K. For that kind of money you can get a aftermarket winch capable bumper and winch. Ive gone through the forums and have read that though the LED option cost may not seem justifiable, the LED's are literally night and day difference from the standard bulb performance, so i was expecting to bite the bullet and accept added option. Ive also seen other trim packages have other variation changes, including a MAX TOW option for the basic sport, which isnt a bad idea. Im just wondering what other options will go away as we close in on the end of year production....i thought i was doing pretty good with patience waiting until September, but holding out until January or February has me kinda antsy. Anyone else have the holdout blues?
I can definitely wait tile December, January or February as long as I get exactly what I want. I need to see Gator in person but that's my top and pretty much only choice as well.

Yeah I don't get why you cant have heated seats with a manual transmission. FCA has a bunch of retards working for them

What’s funny is they’re out there already but for current orders you can’t do it. I might be picking up a sport s this week with a manual and heated seats

I to am in your boat. Im waiting for the Gator as well. I came to the dance conclusion about the mopar steel bumper (I'll be getting the JCR bumper). So loosing the steel bumper as an option wasn't a big worry.
But I have the same concern that they may remove other options I want before i finally get to place my order.
Im ordering the day the Gator banks open though.
