Especially in winter, I worry about not getting the engine up to "normal" operating temperature for enough time. I make 1-2 longer trips each week but some days only drive a few minutes. Even with warming the engine prior to leaving, I'm concerned it's not running long enough to get all the way up to the most efficient use.

What is normal or peak operating temperatures for the EcoDiesel?

Yes, short drives won’t get it warm but you should be fine with at least a weekly longer trip to get it up to temp and keep it there for awhile. If you are worried about it just change the oil at the earlier severe duty interval.

Normal operating temp on mine is 204 for the coolant temp and 208-210 for the oil.
