General consensus that I've found is they're a great tire with some of the best on-road manners of any AT but they have a few weaknesses... the off-road traction isn't as good as the typical KO2/AT2 type tire and the sidewalls have been known to be a bit more vulnerable to rocks and roots. Not personal experience, just what I've heard from others who have owned them.
I agree with this. I liked the Duratracs on my JK on-road and off, but they were a lot more vulnerable than say the KO2s. I had several sidewall flats with the Duratracs that weren't repairable. I haven't had any with KO2s. I also like the Wildpeak MTs that came on my Gladiator, but only have about 8,000 miles on them so far (no issues).

You just log into the USAA site and click on the auto maintenance section and it will provide a link...clicking on that link opens the Goodyear Tire site and then 25% discount is already in the cart.

Logged into my USAA account and found the link. Stock Overland tire same price as Discount Tire, but then the discount is applied in the cart. Nice. I assume you can't stack the additional discounts @Discount Tire Tire has running now if you select them as installer?

That's a hell of a deal.
If I was a USAA member I would definitely be all over that.

I've been debating stock Overland rims with new tires vs. Rubicon take offs for the Overland I bought on Monday.

That is a heck of a deal and if I went this route debating which size. I would obviously like a wider, more aggressive look. I bet @Discount Tire could help. I've always had such good luck with them.

Whoa! I've been a USAA member for YEARS, and never knew about this! :headbang:

Thanks for the tip!

Regarding the GY DuraTracs:

I've got 316/75R16s on my 2008 JK, and they're AMAZING. I highly recommend them. On the Gladiator I'm still running the factory Falken Wildpeak M/Ts and they're nice. I haven't tried them out off-road, or in ice & snow - both of which I know the DuraTracs handle exceptionally well - but, time will tell.

I put 35x12.5 duratracs on the 2nd day I owned my truck. I have almost 800miles on them and am very happy. If you want to order straight from GY, let me know and I have a 20% off code that works on tires and installation. I work for GY HQ.

How do like the E rated Duratracs on the gladiator? I have 315’s on my jku currently trying to decide between the 2 for the gladiator

Duratracs are great tires. I have them on several of my trucks. I would have them on the JT if they made a 37" tire.

I'm going with the stock Overland rims. I think they look good with the right tires.

I'm running the 35 Duratracs on my Mojave and they are excellent. If anything, the ride might be smoother than the stock Falkens (simply due to having more sidewall to absorb bumps). No regrets at all (though I'd be all in if GY would make the Duratrac in a 37!!!).

Thanks for the offer!
I already have a deal working with the dealer to install the GY tires and give me some credit on the stock tires.
No tire expert here, but I have seen a few people mention the C vs E load rating. How much of a difference does that make?

They feel fine. My mileage is only at 13 right now but I think it has more to do with the engine breaking in. They ride great. Taking it to bantam next month and will finally get to test them off-road.

I hope I stay in the 17-19 mpg range.
My tires won't be as big as what you are running so I hope that's the case.
Here is what I'm getting.

My coworker laughed when I called the stock set "sissy boy" tires. They just don't have
enough of a profile.
