Options to replace halogen headlights

I’m currently using LED bulbs in the halogen housings - I know, not great - but I’ve got them adjusted so no one flashes me, and they look and work better than the stock bulbs. Overall I’m pretty happy with this setup, but always looking for a project and so am considering a proper LED headlight replacement.

DV8 is considerably less expensive…

Thoughts from anyone who’s used either of these; or suggestions for other options would be appreciated!

Diode Dynamics. I swapped out my OEM halogens for their LED headlights. Work great!

If you get snow and ice then consider keeping the halogens for snow melt and then add LED fogs for log beam and driving lights triggered by high beam.

Diode dynamic all the way. A little pricey, but they’re so worth the price. Definitely better than oem leds in my opinion.

I definately like the stock look of the DV8 more than the other one.

For myself, I installed Oracle Oculus LED headlights and Morimoto sequential LED turn signals.
I live in the snow belt and have not had any issues with the Oracle lights...3 winters so far.
I used my Tazer JL/JT Mini to program for use of LED head lights and turn signals. The lights all came with ballasts in case you do not have a reprogrammer of some sort, and need to use them.

Cheap LED light will give you what you paid for, cheap results/output

JW speaker FTW….. hands down best lights on the market- beam pattern and color temperature can’t be beat. I have them on our JKU and wish I had not ordered our Jeep with the LED package…. Would have been happier with another set of JW’s
