Hello - I finally got to install the Oracle oculus headlights with the switchback and they look great. I am however having trouble adjusting them correctly and I was wondering if anyone else had some tips. I emailed Oracle and I'm sure I'll hear back but I figured I'd check here too while I wait.

The issue I see is the cut off has "steps" that I can not see to sync up and they are distracting at night. Pictures I've seen online show a single "step" in the middle but I have multiple. Is it possible I haven't bolted them in enough or am I missing an adjustment point? Any advice would be appreciated.

They are supposed to be like that. You will get used to it eventually. This was my second set of true projector headlights so it didn't take me long to get used to these.

Thanks all. Oracle wrote back and I thought I'd share for anyone else that may be wondering.

Hello, thank you for reaching out! I understand you are asking about the cutoff line. This is normal, and it is called a “step” that bumps the beam down slightly on the driver’s side to avoid blinding other drivers. The Oculus cutoff was expertly designed according to DOT guidelines and as a desirable feature of any light for safety and aesthetic reasons; however, all lights have this line to some extent for functionality. As long as the lights are adjusted to have a three-step line, this is correct alignment. Please let me know if I can assist with anything else.

The Jeep is blocking the second step in this photo. There is not a way to have 1 step with 2 separate light sources.

This is what is referred to as a DOT beam pattern, don't want to flood this thread with jargon but here is a simple explanation of why it looks that way.
