I Installed some Oracle tail lights, and I though I’d share my thoughts and tips.
first off I must say the Oracle lights are way better in build quality than stock they used metal screw attachment inserts and metal mounting pins instead of plastic, They are smaller and sit considerably more flush than stock, the back up lights are way brighter than stock which I thought where lacking, and to me look way,way better.
I recommend a second set of hands if like me you have about 20k mi on the od because there was dirt and grit built up on the wire connections, so I washed them with soap and water and althought the instrunctions say slide the red button down and push in the black one I needed someone to hold the light and I used a flat tip screwdriver to push down the tab manually, that was the extent of the installation difficulty, so here’s a couple before during and after pictures.
