Ordered the last week of January. Has been built and sitting at the shipping lot for two months now. Some get picked up quick and some get left behind.
That sucks!! I’ve heard a lot about shipping problems lately. I hope that gets fixed soon.

The thing that sucks is that some of these orders are still sitting in the shipping lot while others built after are being shipped before and all going to the same dealers. No rhyme or reason as to why and no one can get any info on them either. There is a major break down on communication with Stellantis. Can't even get the rep for them to talk to the dealer on these issues. No one wants to do any actual work anymore. Can you tell that I am a little sour? :(:swear:

Ordered 12/4 and STILL waiting. Beginning to get really frustrated. Never have I waited so long for any other vehicle I've ordered.

Could be SHORTAGE of workers......... like transport. Trucking things is taking a loong time because of the huge increase of orders for goods and not enough people to operate trucks. You need to talk to one of my truck driving friends - he'd give you an ear full on some of the reasons for this sort of thing.

I just want an answer as to why orders that were built after mine got shipped before mine and all were Gupton orders. Mines been sitting two months at the shipping lot. Orders have came in the last of March which have already been built and delivered. I don't see this as a driver shortage in this particular case. I own a couple of big trucks and yes it has been hard to find drivers. I can relate to that but my Jeep sitting for two months while those others get delivered is not from a driver shortage.

Then you know logistics - which are trucked, which are rail-shipped, which are a combination, and where are the full loads going (like many dozens) compared to 2 or 3?
Full loads to Gupton will ship quicker than a truck waiting to go to an area where only a couple of others are going?

Hmmmmmmm
Perplexing, for sure - and I bet especially to someone like you who has an understanding of shipping, trucking, logistics and such.

my buddy works at the local bmw factory in the WIP (work in progress) department. any built vehicle that has a defect will have to wait on replacement parts or troubleshooting . On the bwms it usually the radio screens and random loose nuts vibrating making noise they have to track down. sometimes its major issues also. yours could be waiting on repair.

Could be. Too bad the dealer can't even get info about what is going on.

Crazy as it may sound I am about to the point of just canceling the order and place another order. Although between the uncertainty of getting another any faster and the price hikes I have some hesitation.

I'm almost to that point too. If I weren't $1k deposit and much more on parts/accessories invested already, I would. Mine was built on 1/27 so I can't understand what could be holding it up for so long other than maybe some damage incurred in the loading/mixing lot or some other odd instance.

I ordered my 22 Overland on 3/6. I was in D status for a month. Now in D1 status for 2 weeks. Just curious how long other peoples builds took?
That’s where I’m at, 2 years ago quickest I ever got one was 3 weeks after order. I’m in D1 and ordered 3/6

How do I contact Jeep chat?

Its funny you say that about the bad ideas. That’s exactly what I’m going through. At first I was thinking about all the things I wanted to do. Lift, tires, bumpers etc.. I thought I had all the money in the world. Reality sets in as you have more time to think about it. It will be a long work in progress for me. Fun though!
844-533-7928, is one way, tell them last 8 of Vin to get updated status
