Ordered New Build, what to expect?

Just ordered, my first build. Never done it before, but figured instead of waiting for possibly good deal on the existing market with extra options I don't need or care for, which boost MSRP up, I'd rather order exactly what I want.
Did you order your Gladiator?
How long did you wait for it to arrive at the dealership?
Should I be getting some sort of weekly updates on the built, or is that wishful thinking?
Wonder what kind of set back my order will have due to the COVID? Dealer told me possibly 12 weeks or longer.

excellent question. What can you expect, I would say expect to have your Gladiator built and delivered before mine is even started. Hell , you posted this 3 weeks ago. Good chance Jeep already bumped yours up and built it ahead of mine. You ate probably already driving with that top off. doors off. enjoying your jeep.

It is at the top of the POC.

Thanks for that. I have done all of my ordering and negotiating via text. I haven't seen the submitted POC. I will ask for it.

Yea I ordered 6/9. I wasn't given an order number or anything. I called my dealer, and left a message. Then sent an email. It's like nothing ever happened or they all disappeared. Can't get any information!

Popped into the dealer today as I was on my way by and asked for my POC. They printed it out and I have my VON and VIN now.

Status is D1 with a ship date of 7/29. I feel like that is good but ???

The ship date is only an estimate made at the time the POC is put in the system. Actual ship date could be later or sooner.

I ordered my gladiator on June 2nd - Got info today that it should be delivered between 7/6-7/20 to the dealership.
