This thread kinda started when I was about to start to build a new project. Since I need to move stuff to get out chop saw.
With well I got to organize my grease gun(s) box to restack it. The problem is that I might have a grease gun obsession.
I figured out when compiling them together. Now that said 4 of them are for certain uses. Red grease, marine, U-joints, steering linkages, Polaris 4wheelers.

Well, I've probably got 2 more that are tucked in a different tool bags or box.

So do I need to start "Grease Guns Anonymous" now.
I'm sure betting Bill could be a member and a few others too.

I am the same way with my tools. Seems I have 4-5 duplicates of most things. I am a sucker for any decent USA made used tools I find in my travels.

Yesterday, I was getting something else out in my big shed for memorial day and located another grease gun of all things. I was trying to find my jump boots. I still haven't.
The Legion I'm a member of asked me to help out with the fallen service member display. My question was which war is the choice to display "WW1, WW2 / Korea, Vietnam, Desert Storm, OIF, OEF". I've got the proper rifle and bayonets for WW2- OIF, helmets, and a few types of boots.
As of yesterday, I decided that it would be probably best to not have a "live" rifle for the display. Just as I'd really be upset to say the least if something happens to it. My M1 Garand (Korean war vintage), M1 carbine (WW2), Vietnam War vintage AR, or M-4. So spent better part of the day stripping parts from the 1960s one for a display rifle without a functional lower but correct furniture. So my "wall hanger" non functional decorative one it will be the display.

@Blade1668 That is great of you to help out with that. Thank you for your service!! We have a huge Great War reenactment area across town from me.
Interestingly, we get asked for help from different organizations for props, I can't do Roman but post Roman Empire until WWII, we have the gear for. Funny when someone asks for a sword of armor or whatever and your response is, 'what era or country'.

One of my “hobbies” is Tiki. As in the various bars and restaurants you may know, like Trader Vic’s.

This requires a lot of time learning, making and sampling drink recipes, and collecting different kinds of Rum. And recovering from that. There is a Tiki community, and annual gatherings like the “Hukilau” (these can get wild.). Many Jeep owners.

Each Tiki drink should be consumed from a certain type of glass or mug, so I have a large collection of originals. For example the “Suffering Bastard” is now commonly made with 2 shots of rum and 1/2 shot brandy. It should only be served in this, also called a “Suffering Bastard”.

Are you in the SCA by chance? I started to get involved with it back in late 90s but my deployments op tempo ended it. I actually met two field grade officers who took early retirement "from USMC and Navy" so they could get more involved with it. He was earning more with it than his military pay.

This is a display case I've started to make, I'm planning on having a "dummy" rifle, possibly may military awards and crap in it.

Damn, I got to start traveling to stop building stuff.
The house I had in GA. I built myself a liquor cabinet, entertanment, bookshelf unit that covered one wall. For a TV that I don't watch or turn on.

My new downsized one.
