Mainly a reader not much of a poster but found this slideout rack for Milwaukee Packout boxes on Amazon. I have a plate for Packouts in the bed of our Polaris SxS (General) so the commonality works.

I spend quite a bit of time going out shooting and such so between the PALS/MOLLE Motobilt panels and Packouts this works for me. Not concerned about permanent configurations in the Jeep since we have a full size truck for truck stuff.
It comes with Rivnuts and bolts. The rails can be switched so the bolt tabs are either inboard or outboard.

Still have room for the 1750 Pelican cases, tripods, etc.

Proper wrenching tools, but it appears your glass is broken. No whiskey.

So, a couple of things:

First, I like it and can see where it would be handy

But more (most) concerning is that it adds weight. If we had a peppy 5.7L Hemi or similiar powerplant, then the added weight would not be a concern. And if you're fortunate enough to own a diesel, read no further.

But the acceleration we have and hill climbing performance and overall driving experience is in large part due to the power to weight ratio. So, we cannot increase power, so for every pound we add, we lose a proportional amount of zip. I look on this asking is it absolutely necessary. I answer that question: No. I could climb in the bed and wrestle out anything I need.

Now should I opt for a 6.4 hemi (on the edge) then I'll buy one too!
