I recently got my truck back from the dealorship for paint repair. The hood, door, and frame around windshield. The body shop said it was a manufacturing problem when building the parts. The aluminum and magnesium components were not treated or in direct contact with each other at the seams causing corrosion. They replaced the hood and frame and painted them.
They painted the top of the hood too match the body but the underside was just the base coat with no gloss. Is this normal or are they being lazy? I want it exactly like factory.
