Painting the Rotor Face

OP those rotors came out nice. In the Future you might consider POR15 (POR stands for paint over rust). Once cured that stuff is tuff. You paint it over rust and it forms a chemical reaction with the rust. I have been using it for 25 years now.
Note, don't buy their wash and adhesive promotor, just use the POR15 and wipe the loose rust off first. Just a thought for next time. I did the rears and frame on both my jeeps with it ..

Semi trucks use a gasket between the wheels and the hub, more to control the galvanic reaction of aluminum/aluminum and aluminum/steel contact, seems they make them for pickups now, not Jeeps yet tho.

Just showing that the waxpaper idea, while not the proper medium, isn't that far off. Yes, the galvanic reaction is only between the steel and aluminum, but they provide protection between the aluminum wheels as well.
