Hi, I have a Mojave and wondering if anyone had a spray-in liner ever seem like it affected the handling/acceleration of their truck.

I just got mine lined with Patriot Liner today and I could swear the ride home was different. Like a truck slightly bogged down with a load in bed. Felt 'heavy' in the back, steering seemed stiffer in a way. Truck 'tracked' on the highway seemingly different. None of it in a good way.

I googled what the weights of a liner are and they range from 40-60 pounds. I can't imaging 60# in the bed could throw it off. But wondering if the Mojave suspension isn't really meant for carrying the weight it's rated for. The liner doesn't appear to be applied excessively thick, either.

So, I could just be mistaken...

But makes me wonder how it will feel with the weight of canopy. Once I get one. And wondering if I'll need to look at a leveling kit that compliments the current suspension system.

Thanks for your input!!!
Naw, nothing to worry about it's just the Mojaves 😂😂
Put some 89 Octane and some fuel injector cleaner in it and check the air filter.
Also had this happen and it was a cam sensor.

It would be weird if it was just me being mentally off. I drove it about 45 minutes to get there. Then after a few hours, I drove it back home. It just felt different on the way home from how I remember it feeling before...

I'll see how tomorrow's drive to work goes.
Every Jeep I have had has felt different to me daily. Temp plays a big role.

I have a heavy rubber matt in my bed. No differance in handling. Even loaded with surf fishing gear, no differance. Your mind will play tricks sometimes. It's like when a customer comes in for an oil change driving a near death ready to die ride. Gets only an oil change and driving home feels the car is lke new. I felt these same things. But , true a Jeep is a box going down the road. I laughed to myself when at the Jeep dealership at first time Jeep buyers coming back complaining about there MPG. There not kia's. I love Jeeps for them being a real Truck.

I agree as well.

I had the spray in liner done as a factory option.......all in all, maybe 5-7 pounds of weight added at best.

I have a Mojave as well......shit my rack set up didn't make a difference in anything
Agreed. When I put recovery gear in the back of the bed, and a softopper, and the rack, it made little to no difference. I just removed all that gear yesterday, trading it in for a new Mojave, it makes little to no difference. I will be putting all the same gear back in the new truck over the next few weeks, and will try to discern if there is a difference. Doubting it, photos to follow

Damn! I can finally say "Nice rack!" again without ending up in HR!

Yeah, after driving it the past 3/4 days. It's back to 'normal' as to how I first remember it. Crazy brain...
