Hey all - would like to hear how you all handle the dilemma of payload and camping gear. I've got a 2020 Gladiator Sport S (w/o tow package) with a listed payload not to exceed 1137. I've got 4 additional passengers totaling approx 700 lbs. I also tow a Rockwood tent trailer with tongue weight of 375. That leaves about 62 pounds for "stuff". Curious to hear about how you all handle this. I can't choose option B: leave everyone at home to free up 500 lbs!! Thanks!

My scenario is different than yours. Rear seat delete so 2 people only. All I can say is that it's a never ending battle keeping the weight down. Sacrifices have to be made, I've become kinda weight weenie and minimalist. I don't have a lot for convenience and creature comfort, my 2 Kermit Chairs I consider a luxury. I've gone thousands of miles for 6-8 weeks at a time, I obviously have to resupply in between. Soul searching, needs vs wants. Probably not the answer you wanted.
