Anybody else install a Pedal Monster and almost immediately get a check engine light, stability control error message and limp mode? What was the fix?
Edit: I called Banks tech support and after a brief explanation of what was happening, they're sending a new unit. Thanks Banks Power!
I bought and installed a Banks Pedal Monster on my 21 JTR Ecodiesel and was instantly impressed at the difference it made in driving feel. The stock pedal programming just, well, SUCKS. The Pedal Monster absolutely wakes this truck up and makes it actually feel like there might be the claimed 442 lb/ft of torque. BUUUUUUUT I get a CEL, Service stability control system error, and limp mode within a few miles of install. I have to remove th unit and clear the code before it will drive normally again. I called Banks but they're not open yet this morning. Wondering if anyone has had a similar issue and what was the fix?
