Pennzoil motor oil no longer GTL

It appears according to the Motor Oil Geek, pennzoil platinum and Pennzoil ultra platinum is no longer made from gas.
Maybe I am misinterpreting what he said. Your opion would be welcomed.

I just watched this on you tube earlier this morning. I interpreted it the same as you.

So it seems they started to move away from natural gas prior to Iran kicked off. Then fully off using it. Slight reduction in oxidation stability of 8-10%. So yes same interpretation as you, glad I buy 3 packs that might get me thru till that pearl plant is back

But tbh, it also seems that yea, reduced quality, but still a pretty good oil I guess
