I will be in the area from out of town and have never rode this trail. It looks like a beautiful trail with low difficulty. Is anyone else planning on wheeling that trail on Thursday 11/9? I'd prefer to roll with a small group rather than solo. Cheers!

When: 11/9/23
Time: 10am~11am? (Flexible)
Meet up: Exxon station near the south trail head on Stoney Creek Blvd (open to suggestions as I'm an out of towner, but they sell trail passes here and obviously sell fuel)

Too late notice for myself to make it down, but I love the trail. It's easy going and beautiful. You'll be able to complete it in 2wd no problem, if it rains you might switch to 4lo but just take it slow and you'll be golden. First time I ever did Peters Mill was completely stock, no air-down, no lockers, no swaybar disconnected, nada.

That Exxon is a perfect starting location, I've used it many times to lead groups. It will take about 90 minutes straight through, although please stop and take in the views! There's a nice photo op in the first half as you make a right turn up a nice steep hill. And there's a huuuuge open parking area at the halfway point to have lunch, it will be about 1/4 mile past the small pond that you'll pass on the left.

Best of luck, have fun!

This trail is definitely on my bucket list. I did Flagpole Knob earlier this year, and it was an awesome trip. I hope you get some people to go, and you have a great time.

I would love to go and meet you, but I am still under quarantine for covid. What @GOCAMPN stated was on point. I've run it numerous times and I always see Subarus, Renegades, Cherokees, and many other SUVs that you wouldn't find on more difficult trails. Airing down would only be for comfort. Remember to get your trail badge if you collect them. Most important, have a great time. I wish I could join you.
