MPG should not be that bad, my Mojave with RSI cap, some skid plates , winch, front hitch and an ARB fridge and mount (100lbs) in back gets 18 around town and over 19 highway. Your cap is lighter, less weight all around you should do ok….Jack

I have a Sport S with max tow with a RLD canopy, EZ Rec rack on top & I average ~20-22 mpg. But I’m not driving a lot of highway speeds

For some reason ,I know how handy those caps make the back of the Gladiator.. bur they just look better to me with a rack

Not the OP but I’ve had one since they first came out several years ago and love it. Absolutely no issues with it and I’ve Overlanded with it all over North America.
