I have the pritchett canyon bumper on my Mojave and it has some of the best welds I've ever seen on a bumper. Its one of my favorite upgrades to my Mojave. I have pictures of the welds and bumper on my build page.
I was craving a Barnes Pritchett Canyon bumper set up before I saw a fella had one fail at the welds.
I agree with @Mojave40, my bumper arived today. It's solid. @Dougstdig I guess someone could possibly fail the welds if it was your goal, but you would have to work hard at it, and other crap would definitely bend or break first. So I'm falling back on a old internet saying, Pics Or It Didn't Happen. The fail magically was removed from the internet and is nowhere to be found, and looks like @Dougstdig was the only person that was able to access and see the fail. I believe you, not. Made in Utah by a renowned off-road shop. Pics or it didn't happen. Yeah, it didn't happen.

If it’s your goal to call someone dishonest, okay you did it, but what I said stands. I know what I saw and what was loaded up as broken parts. I have no ulterior motive as I liked the bumper. No one indicated it was someone’s goal to see if it would fail…that’s asinine and something someone would do if they didn’t have to spend their own hard earned cash on something. Grow up.

I'm fully grown up. Possible asinine. I just call it as I see it. That's how I roll.

Installing an AEV 2” kit on the auto Mojave. Trying to decide on BFG KO2 (lighter variant) 35s or 37s. Without a regear, how bad is it driving on pavement? I have a 2010 JKU rubicon 4.10s and 35 GY duratrecs as my only comparison. It’s the 3.8 V6. It’s a bit rough on windy days and hills. Any suggestions? Same, worse, better in comparison?
Thank you

It’s no secret that I really don’t like KO2s but to answer your question directly, definitely go 37s in that tire. They might even have a 38. They run notoriously small and like you said are light. I am on 37s with heavy solid steel wheels and it’s fine. I still want to regear regardless but it’s not bad at all.

Cheers

Got them installed! I think it is the perfect stance and look great! They balanced well and ride nice. Only slight disappointment is they measured shorter than what others previously mentioned at 36 1/8" tall at 32 psi on 17x8 wheels.
