?Unions hold back high achievers to support the lowest performance.
Been union adjacent enough in my life to see how the bar gets lower each year.
I don't pretend to know the "right" answer but union jobs are not for me
Union craftsman are certified via State and National codes, they are trained by their Local Union on what those codes are and how to work within them in their jurisdiction.so electricians, carpenters, plumbers should not be certified via their union trade standards? lol yep good luck with any of your necessary home or auto projects... lmao
never said they were licensed by govt.. just said they were vetted and their quality of work was more than the anti union shitUnion craftsman are certified via State and National codes, they are trained by their Local Union on what those codes are and how to work within them in their jurisdiction.
They are licensed (where applicable) by the State or National organization that covers their specific Trade or skill. Be it a Government body or recognized organization.
Not all Trades are licensed by the Government.
No, you said, as I've quoted again, they are certified via Union Standards.so electricians, carpenters, plumbers should not be certified via their union trade standards? lol yep good luck with any of your necessary home or auto projects... lmao
Before you get too old, you need to realize if your contractor isn't making a profit, you're not going to have a job.companies only concerned with corporate and stockholder profits are the real issue with increased costs and lower standards
unions provide workers with standards, worker safety. and quality wages and benefits...No, you said, as I've quoted again, they are certified via Union Standards.
Again, that is not so. They are certified via State and Federal codes, whether they are building code, pressure code, or electrical code. These codes are Government driven standards, not Union.
stupidBefore you get too old, you need to realize if your contractor isn't making a profit, you're not going to have a job.
As I stated in my long post, UAW members no longer have benefits, their Union gave them up to retain the jobs.unions provide workers with standards, worker safety. and quality wages and benefits...
never said anything about goverNo, you said, as I've quoted again, they are certified via Union Standards.
Again, that is not so. They are certified via State and Federal codes, whether they are building code, pressure code, or electrical code. These codes are Government driven standards, not Union.
