It would seem that the last 6 of the VIN are following a pattern.
Sport = 107xxx,108xxx,109xxx
Sport S = 108xxx, 109xxx
Overland = 101xxx, 102xxx, 103xxx, 106xxx, 107xxx
Rubicon 100xxx, 101xxx, 102xxx, 110xxx
The 4th and 7th characters of the VIN
Sport = H A
Sport S = J A
Overland = H F
Rubicon = J B

Joe, if yours really is a Sport, can you send your VIN to @Yakpimp? That would be the first non-Rubicon we've heard of and he's looking for one to update the VIN tracker with. So far all of the pre-specs we've seen have been Rubicons, as well as the LEs.

Is it a pre spec or were you able to order a sport yourself.

its a pre spec. i didnt get to order it but it has everything i want. i updated the google docs sheet yesterday with my VIN and VON.

I have a ME friend that works for FCA that was able to look up my vin for more information he says my build date is for the week of 6/10. I have a firecracker red LE on order

I added mine to it yesterday, and its telling me its an overland and it doesn't give any information. According the the dealer the car should be delivered on 5/11. My sales guy said its probably already done being built. Maybe i entered in the wrong info or something?

Been waiting for a VIN (have my VON since 4/11). Tried FCA Chat - they said to call the concierge. Called the concierge - they said to call the dealer. Called the dealer - they said, "You are all set, no VIN yet and it's in BG status". Already gave the dealer a deposit on 4/10.

Are there others that are still waiting for a VIN like me? Been in BG status since 4/11. It's for a LE in red. Guess I am chomping at the bit for some news one way or the other, especially with all the VIN's and build status's flying around lately.

Based upon what has been happening with all LE's (Non Granite) is you should get your VIN very soon and start progressing through the build!

Yes, all granite color LE orders are still waiting. I've been moved to "C" Status as of 4/19. I ordered / gave deposit for LE Granite on 4/4. Checked yesterday, no update.

Same here, BG status still whatever that means. No second call, email or otherwise from concierge either.

That seems logical as it seems like they are only building @ 1,000 units a week so far. I have only seen window stickers available for 39xx so far. My guess is that the LE models will start @ 111xxx which would leave around 10k JTs to be built before then, hopefully all pre-spec builds for dealers,

I did add some columns for future key dates. Some people have build dates (LEs) and ship dates (pre-spec). It does look like at least 3 members who have VINs (both top and bottom of the list) have heard that their build date is the week of 6/10. So it looks like that would be the start of the LE builds. Hopefully the ones without VINs (which appear to be only the Granite Crystals) will follow closely behind.

His VIN seems to be the anomaly but there really isn't a ton of data as of yet. My order was placed 04/05 at 11:57 AM EST and my VIN is 111912 - Billet Silver.
