Power from mirror

Anyone pull power from the harness behind the mirror? I have tried using the pins to poke down into the harness by stops halfway…must be some kind of waterproof thing and don’t really want to poke into the wire itself as I still have warranty left lol trying to install one of those fitdvr’s in so I can power my radar detector…any suggestions will definitely help below is a photo of what I’m talking about it’s in a 2023 gladiator sport diesel

I don’t remember the name of it, but there is a power adapter that fits up there that you can plug the mirror power connector into and it has connections on the box itself for output. I saw it a while ago and forget where it was. It’s for piggy backing low power output off the mirror connections. Like for an extra USB or something like that. Radar detector sounds like it may be about the right power level for it. I know that doesn’t help fully, but it may send you into the right realm on Google.
