What is your preferred tire pressure for stock tires on a Mojave?

36psi for me is great .... when I took delivery it had 40 psi and vehicle would not stay straight, took the recommended advice of fellow forum members and dropped it down... been good ever since ...

Stock Mojave with M/T's. I run what the sticker in the door jam says...37 psi. Tracks straight and doesn't wander. Works for me. Ran that in the JL Rubi, too. Same results. MPG is acceptable.

Funny, though. Seems like every time I read something on Jeeps about the dealer psi, it's virtually always 40-42. How can that be so common? Mine was at 41. Odd....

Adjusted mine before I left the dealership.

I run 37 psi per the door sticker as well. For the stock tires, there is no reason not to.

Adjusted mine before I left the dealership.
When I took delivery, my tires were at 42-44 psi. I aired down to 37 psi right there on the showroom floor. People were looking at me like I had lobsters coming out of my ears.

When I get above 36psi I can feel the truck starting to wander a bit so I run 33-34psi cold (60deg ambient air) and it gets up to around 36psi hot after some hwy miles. In the summer the cold pressure will go up a little and I have to air back down to 33-34psi.

This was really noticeable with the truck completely stock and after tightening my steering box and adding a Fox 2.0 stabilizer its harder to notice.

That’s pretty common for the dealer to have the tires above 40 psi. I assume so they don’t have to refill often if the vehicle sits on the lot for a while. Ive never seen a dealer deflate them to specs pre test drive or delivery, which isn’t ideal obviously.

Took delivery yesterday and they are at 40 cold. Its a little drifty on freeway so I'll lower them to 35 and see what happens. Don't want to start issues with steering at the dealer. Mine is a Rubicon but that shouldn't matter.

Same as others have posted for hwy/dd use. Using the chalk test method, I came up with 36psi.

On forestry roads, 29psi softens things up quite a bit.
