Thanks everyone. Dealer hasn’t properly responded yet. Awaiting another call today.

Attached the window sticker options for my JT. Window sticker shows that the dual top and body color hard top were on the build. I believe everyone has come to the same conclusion. I am owed a premium soft top or some money back.

As others have already said, you are owed either a refund or a premium soft top. I can't remember, but did you point this out before you took delivery of your Gladiator and before you left the dealership?

I noticed that it was missing after doing my own inspection on delivery day before driving away, and informed them asap. They then looked at the build sheet and gave me the line about the sunrider soft top deletion when the color matched hard top is added as an option. I told them I would look in to this myself, as they clearly had no idea what was going on.

The sales manager is talking to Chrysler about this. Thats where this situation stands.

What really bugs me is how often things like this happen, and the dealerships get away with it. A lot of people will take the dealerships word as gospel. Good dealership, poor brand knowledge. They should have known right away that the Premium soft top was missing.

It may have been stolen from the vehicle in shipping or if it was night dropped unlocked...
we had a Launch that someone took the speaker out of it before we arrived in the am to check it in...
Chrysler is on the hook for it as missing equipment not included at deliver to our dealership...

Dont know what the thieves will do with the speaker as it only charges in a Gladiator.

I received a call from the dealerships sales manager. She had contacted Chrysler and found out what happened.

In short, my JT and around 20 others were ordered without the dual top group, just the color matched hard top. But, somehow the dual top group was added on the window sticker. There was a discrepancy between the window sticker and some internal build sheet. The internal build sheet stated "no soft top".

In the end, all I see as the customer is the window sticker, and I paid the window sticker price.

I have a premium soft top on the way :).

Result! I love a happy ending, but that is one weird story.
