I have read the posts and watched the videos about supercharging the V6. I just t understand putting 6 grand into something like this that cannot help but put extra stress on engine components.
That's no different than putting 37+ tires on... Extra stress on drivetrain components

I spent $7,500 on the procharger and over $10K putting it back together after the piston came apart. Procharger will just tell you it's a "shame a shop or dealer will just blame it on the procharger for the issue" and not cover anything under warranty.. Even when you prove that the tune is wrong and then they just say all the cars would be impacted.. Do yourself a favor and google "procharger lean' and you will quickly find I am not alone.

Overall, I am very satisfied with the performance of the procharger, just more disappointed that they don't want to learn and prevent another customer from having the same issue. Probably more worried about opening up class action lawsuit against themselves if they were to actually own their mistakes. Not to mention the fact that all shops that I have talked to about prochargers tunes state that they're good at making prochargers not tunes.. I haven't found one yet that supports their tune work.

So sorry to hear this has happened! Really makes me question if I want this kit in the future. So the dealer won’t help since it was supercharged and procharger left you hanging?
Dealer didn't even want to touch it.. They said, "warranty is voided and that it was a liability for them". Procharger says we have rights with installing aftermarket parts. I was left 500 miles away from home and trying to find a shop to help me.

After the whole journey.. I have spent over $10K to find out the tune was not ideal from procharger. Piston came apart and allowed the rod to go through the block. I have a dyno setup for tomorrow and I will share the facts to as exactly what is wrong with the tune and numbers.

Moral of the story is: Procharger says its jeeps fault and Jeep says you installed a procharger. Procharger might say you have rights, but that doesn't help anything when the dealer won't do anything other then charge you a diagnostic fee to lift the hood and tell you there is nothing their going to do... I am sure some people might have had luck working with the dealer with a blower or turbo on, but I can tell you I am 0/3 with dealers in the last 2 months with Jeep..

Truck broke on 6/11 and might be fixed and back on the road tomorrow afternoon 8/11.. only 2 months of BS and Procharger says "tune is fine and it is Jeeps issue"..

I actually don't blame the dealership for not wanting to touch it even if you paid for the repair. They'd be partially liable next time the motor grenades itself. I'll bet they would have fixed it if you returned it to bone stock and even reinstated your warranty.
