So I'm going to attempt to keep this up to date. It's my first time doing a build post, also doing it mostly on my phone so hopefully the format isn't horrible to look at.
I'm going to break this into 3 post. Intro, Parts (I'll try and link all) and Trips/pictures

Ordered: 11/16/2019
Received: 01/06/2020
Gladiator: Hydro blue Sport S with Max tow package, Hardtop, 8.4 Uconnect and All safety features.

Previously I had a 2014 JKU (lifted and all that jazz) that I used to tow a homemade off-road trailer with a RTT. Most of my buddies have trucks and seeing how much easier/faster it was for them to get around trails I decided to get the gladiator. (Tried the RTT on top of the Jeep... That was a def no go).

Powder coating my Recon lift kit

The color was super close to the Jeep. The blue changes sooo much in the light.

Ceramic coated the wheels, we'll see how well they hold up.

Can't do that in a Wrangler

Keep this thread updated. I bought my JT for the wife, she decided she wanted a JL (Wrangler). I would NEVER have bought a red vehicle, but here's mine (red JT) sitting next to her white JL. Both 2" Mopar lift, 37" tires on after market wheels and FOX 2.0 shocks. Both with rock slider steps. Curious to see what you use for rock sliders/steps with that lift.

Nice! And jealous! I can't wait to get my lift on!

As for rocksliders I'm going to make some custom one that kind of resemble DV8/EVOs but with removable steps because I'm super short. =[

Check out MC steps. Seems like it is exactly what you are looking for. I have them on my JK and love them. You can take the steps on and off, flip them to a low step or straight out for a rock slider.

Ohhhh idk how I haven't seen them before. That's a pretty good idea. It'll depend on how tall the Jeep actually ends up.

scroll down a bit to the section labled "the tech". It shows how the steps would sit depending on how you want them. I am waiting for them to make some for the JT. Not sure how long that will be. But I LOVE them on my JK. Middle of the trail ive taken them off before when needed. Takes all of 1 minute each side to take it off, place it in your trunk and go to the other side.

It is great.
