Couldn't stand it. Just bought a Badland Apex 12k as well. Lol
Well let's see it after you're done with it. I love the front of these Jeeps.

This is the thing I was most bummed about Punk'n coming back. Except for the introductory vehicle they used to launch the Mojave at the 2020 Chicago Auto Show, there were no Punk'n Mojaves. It was a good distinguishing feature Rubicons had that Mojaves didn't. Now there will be a handful of Punk'n Mojaves, and I won't be able to use that in my list of things the Rubicon has that the Mojave doesn't. But that is awesome. Ordering a new Jeep is the only way to go. And hopefully you get it soon! I read they were spraying Punk'n in September.

I would rather have the Rubicon hood. It just looks way better than the Mojave.

How does the TJR compare to the taco?
I've owned both a '15 and a '16 Taco. The seating position in Jeeps is infinitely better. My wife thought the 4.0/6speed was the strongest runner of them all. But the biggest difference for me was the seats are much higher off the floor.

I test drove a couple Yodaā€™s over the years and couldnā€™t seem to get comfortable with the seating. I thought I heard a YouTube reviewer on TFL state seating had been improved in ā€˜24, but not my preference at this point.

In fact, I have another Mojave on order in Punkā€™n. I wrote a refundable deposit clause into my signed order just in case something happens between my order date and the day it gets here which makes the economics of the deal exceedingly awful (i.e. a layoff or a tremendous cratering of used trade in / secondary market pricing). ā€¦FYI, I currently have a ā€˜22 Gobi Mojave, so I canā€™t help but feel like I have a good bit of exposure to a price drop over whatever build period it is. Iā€™m not complaining just sharing my strategy with the agreement the dealer and I made on the off chance it could help someone else better protect their deposit exposure.

However, even though I hadnā€™t noticed mention of the possible UAW strike on this forum, there could be a situation shaping up for a UAW strike.

So, if that happens, I canā€™t help but to consider the possibility of an upswing in used vehicle prices if existing new inventory replenishments stall with 1 or more of the big 3 experiencing a strike and resulting shutdown. So, by my way of thinking, there is a scenario where someone with an order price locked with a deposit would be protected from price increases while possibly benefiting from what could be stabilization or even an increase in used pricing. Of course, such a thing could cause delay for orders that didnā€™t get built prior to the potential 9/14 strike date Iā€™ve heard mention of, but that person would likely be in front of the line before ā€˜24ā€™s get made. Oh, and here is some more WILD SPECULATION - could the remainder of ā€˜23 orders get converted to ā€˜24 orders if a potential strike caused too much of a delay? Keep in mind, I donā€™t have any information other than that which is in ether. Just to guard against anything taken out of context, let me just qualify that Iā€™m just trying to share some of my thoughts on my ā€˜23 Punkā€™n order as I wonder about things that could happen with itā€™s timing and my current vehicleā€™s value.

Yes the Taco seating is weird. Like a sportscar all stretched out. I much prefer my Mojave

Put our Mojave on order a few weeks back. Excited as well! I was hoping for the return of Gecko, but the wife was head over heels for Punkn and it seems to be about as rare on Gladiators as the Gecko green.

Now for the long wait. Hopefully that comment about Punkn orders getting built in Sept is true. I'm still just in confirmed status. No D1 scheduled yet.
