I went to order mine this am but they couldn’t order the steel bumper group, that’s a deal breaker for me. Anyone else have this problem?

What's the reason? Steel tariffs?Yep....everybody. tons of threads about its unavailability
Just got home from the dealer. Ordered up a Rubicon in Punk'n . I didn't have to get a bedliner and the steel factory bumper was completely AWOL. What other bumper are you talking about? Not on the order form.I'm ordering mine tomorrow morning!
Yep I ordered body matching hard top and fenders so I can’t wait to see it.I just saw a new Wrangler at a Jeep dealership. Was the PunkN color, had the matching color roof that @MirMir likes very mucho. Looked great. Now if only they could get a Gladiator on the lot in that same color!!!
This is what I did with my Jk.Halloween is my wife's favorite holiday. In part that is why orange is our favorite color. I hadn't thought of it as a "Halloween Truck" for decorating until you posted that comment. I can't wait to mention it to her. And I certainly hope we get our trucks long before October 31st.
You could just order it elsewhere. I’ve seen someone got their for $700 or $800 from BAM.I went to order mine this am but they couldn’t order the steel bumper group, that’s a deal breaker for me. Anyone else have this problem?

But, regardless, I am excited.
You mean Vin?!?!?Just got the actual order sheet with my von, woot!
VON (vehicle order number) doesn't come with VIN (vehicle identification number). VON is when your order is confirmed by Jeep (BA status). VIN is assigned when it's scheduled to build (usually D status). Most of the time, a VIN/D status follows within a a day or two of placing an order. There are a bunch of Granite folks that have had VONs for months but still no VIN.I'm not super savvy with the whole order process, but the von comes before the vin, its something on the order sheet, whether it means order submitted to FCA or accepted I'm not sure.
Thank you for the info, viper there ya go.VON (vehicle order number) doesn't come with VIN (vehicle identification number). VON is when your order is confirmed by Jeep (BA status).
