Wish I was near you. NY they kill you every chance they can.
apparently there is a $1,000 rebate and that’s what lowered my payment from the time of order.
Still waiting for the factory to make a statement on my tires.
I got Bridgestone Duler H/T but the track lock anti skid option comes with A/T
Hoping for a financial resolution to offset real tires a little bigger.

I bought when they were doing the Employee pricing back in May. The dealer didn't budge much on the already discounted price, but I was able to get them to throw in a bedliner by telling them it was pretty much the only thing missing from the JT they had on the lot that I wanted

I just bought a 2021 base sport a few days ago in NJ. The MSRP was $40,130 and there was a $1,000 rebate that brought the offer down to $39,130. I tried to get them to come down another $1,000, but they wouldn’t budge. The manager explained that there is little fat on the MSRP on base models and he showed me the invoice price, which was $39,154. I didn’t have a trade in. I indicated I would finance through Chrysler before getting their offer hoping that would help lower the price. I didn’t request any accessories and didn’t take the extended warranty offers. I was in and out in one stop. I was in a rental and needed to pull the trigger quickly.

Went to the dealer and they sold the truck. Anyone else experiencing dealership not really negotiating with price? It’s as if they know they sticker prices sell on there own. Now I gotta wait until the dealer receives a shipment.

Keep searching other dealers within an hour's drive or do if you can. I'm sure for the 21's it's going to be harder to negotiate since they're so new, but if you find any builds with the Popular Equipment Package, that'll supply some savings at least. Since the '20s are close to the end of the model year, I'd think you should be able to negotiate better on those.

Also you can compare window stickers to the builder on the Jeep website and make sure prices are at least matching up there

Can you guys help me confirm a few things?

MSRP = What is on the window sticker (Nobody ever pays this).
Invoice = What the dealer says they paid for it (not always true based on FCA incentives). Must ask the dealer to see this and they will probably will not email it to you.
Destination fee = Dealer seems to make it up but it should be 0-$500
OTD = Out the door - Final price including all fees and taxes

When you guys say you paid "X" under invoice, does that include sales tax?

EX. If you see MSRP sticker at $50,000 and dealer Invoice $45,000,
You pay $45,000 - $2250 (5% off negotiated) = $42750 + Sales tax (6% Mich) = $45,315 OTD

Yes, that's basically correct.. Generally, there are things like holdback that are factory incentives to dealers that lower the cost below invoice for them.

The destination fee is a legitimate fee from the factory that covers the cost to ship the vehicle to the dealer. MSRP includes the destination fee into the price, invoice pricing does not (from what I've seen).

When I think of % off invoice or MSRP I include the destination fee but I do NOT include taxes/fees into that. Those taxes./fees would be included in the OTD cost.

order one. order one. order one...

Contact @RobTrachtman at Tuttle Click in Irvine. 4% under invoice w/ $100 tread lightly membership and a FLAT $85 doc fee. No other BS or random fees. Straight-shooter through and through.

It took me one afternoon of perusing dealers in San Diego to realize buying a Gladiator off of the lot was a bad idea. They all thought they were sitting on a goldmine, which is why they all still had leftover launch editions and early 2020's.

One thing I've learned: OTD (Out The Door) apparently means different things to different people. Ignore that phrase, IMO.
To me, OTD is a simple concept
... nope.

Prolly the same (towing) folks that say: I couldn't even tell that 5K lbs was back there ... BS.

They are never going to sell you a car for less than they paid for it...no matter what they say or what documents they show you.

Some of the dealers mentioned on this site are also willing to give the same deal for one on their lot already. Not sure about Tractman but never hurts to call and ask. Look at the pricing ordering thread here. There’s also a google doc here that has the MSRP/Invoice/Options prices on it. So you know exactly where they stand on it.
