Ok, so I just had some new wheels put on my gladiator, and the TPMS swapped from the stocks to the new wheels. Is there anything special they have to do for them to read right or is it just an easy swap? I only ask, because if they are reading right, they are reading really high pressure ...i think thats just cause they aired them too much, but what is getting me is on the drive home that takes 10-15 mins, the readings were jumping up and down the whole time.

Thoughts?

Mine transferred over fine. I've read a good 15-20 minutes of driving/revolutions will do the trick for them to normalize. It sounds like the jumping around was a reflection of that. Any change you changed noticeable elevation during your drive home? Elevation/pressure certainly can change tire pressure as well as cold/heat.

My guess is that you'll be fine after more driving (as long as you're not getting an error). That being said, if you're still showing abnormally high pressure, then you'll probably want to let out some air.

I maybe didnt drive long enough. Elevation would not have changed. Just a small drive home was all.
