PSA: If you want wireless Carplay + Magsafe charging put your phone in low power mode.
Ironically I think it lowers the rate at which wireless charging occurs but it results in a net positive, so your phone's at 100% when you get where you're going. Maybe I'll swap it for a cheap Qi charger and use the expensive MagSafe one somewhere else I want to charge faster, like in the RTT.

I've found having the phone handy is so useful, very often lately my podcast app has been getting into a state where I can't use it through CarPlay and I just have to press play on my phone once and then it works fine. Also I feel like iOS really F'd up permissions lately and in order to get any GPS application updating my location on the screen I have to unlock the phone and tap the app once, regardless whether I'm using Google Maps, Waze, Gaia or OnX.

Now I give the RAM Mount Magsafe setup an A-, and only because wireless charging tech sucks, not really the mount's fault. It holds the phone firmly, doesn't jiggle, the phone sees my face and instantly unlocks making quick app launches much safer.

Some of my favorites are:
- Dead pedal for comfort.
- Side steps from an Overland make it way easier to get in & out.
- Mud flaps to keep the sides clean.
- A Tuff Truck Bag for family road trips to keep stuff clean & dry in the bed. Although I have a Mopar tri-fold cover, you can't rely on it to keep things clean or 100% dry.
