Hi all,

I just got a Sport S, and one of the only things it didn't have was the factory-installed bed liner. I am considering doing a LineX liner, but I am a bit concerned about the LineX messing up the mounting points in the bed. Down the road, I may want to do a tonneau cover, or other bed-mounted accessories, and I don't want the liner to prevent me from easily using the factory mounting points.

Does anyone have any experience with this? This is my first truck, so I am a bit ignorant on this subject. Any input would be greatly appreciated

You can plug all the threaded holes prior to getting it sprayed. I think I saw somewhere that you can use golf tees... give that a try and let us know how it works.

I would use sacrificial hardware to plug the holes. LineX appliers do a real good job of making sure they don't mess things up. Panels are removed and coated separately. Generally they go over rubber and plastic plugs.

I’m getting LineX sprayed on - installer is adding the trail rail kit - i assume they plug the holes.

My LineX applicator used golf tees in all the holes. Made for easy mounting of my Folding hard tonneau.

FWIW, I forgot to tell my liner dealer to plug the thread holes and they were sprayed over. I just ran a thread chase through them and all is good.

I mean, if I'm paying ~$500 to get LineX installed I would expect the installer to do the prep work themselves to cover threaded holes. I would definitely clarify this prior to the work being performed to make sure.
