I have a '23 Mojave and typically see 16-19 mpg. On long road trips I've seen 19-20 at best. Everything is stock with tonneau cover and I have bed mounted cross bars with a bike rack.

I saw this post prior to taking a 4 day road trip and wanted to pay attention to my MPG's. Here is what I came up with. I am very pleased with the last tank avg in picture.

2021 JTM
I have a Fishbone 1/2 rack and a cargo basket on top of that
2 drawer decked system loaded with recovery gear and recovery tools
5 gallon lifesaver filled
2 adults, all of our luggage
Traveled 1400 miles over passes, freeways, highways and byways
38psi
all kinds of weather coldest it got traveling was 23 (not that cold for North Idaho and Northern Montana)

Lowest mpg was 16.4
Highest was 21.4
Avg 19.8, very happy

I have manual 22 Mojave. Stock. Summer 19-20mpg. Winter (Canada) 17-18mpg. Tonneau, hardtop. Not much in town or highway. All country roads 55-65 mph. Flat. Happy with mileage for capability and size. My old KL Trailhawk 3.2l was not much better (maybe 21 summer 18 winter). Towing a 4000lbs travel trailer actually pretty good too... 12-13 mpg on flatland!

I’m getting 17-18 on my stock 2022 Mojave around town. About to leave on a roadtrip with lots of Interstate driving and hoping to see 20+ on the highway. I think 22 is a long shot.

I will never understand how some of you get such great mileage.
I get 12 around town. Lucky to get 14 on the highway. And 10 when towing.

I got the same results when I had 35s too.

They have got to be driving around like hyper-milers. Drafting big rigs and coasting as often as possible. Never seen anywhere near the window sticker in any vehicle I've owned let alone above like some of these guys. Time is money. I'll drive like I have somewhere to be and buy gas.

I used to get 13 MPG around town in my 2018 JL Sahara with 3-inch Mopar lift and 35s.

We get high 12s to low 13s on our 2022 JLUR on 3.5" lift and 39s. I don't feel bad about it at all. If I wanted fuel economy I wouldn't drive lifted Jeeps on large tires. Staying stock for an extra 4-5mpg isn't even close to worth it to me.
