Looking at getting the Wolfbox G900 tripro. Will the screen interfere with the sun visors? I have seen another way to mount the screen using a dash mounting bar but in order to do it it adds an extra $230 in parts. Though I do like the dash mount, I don't like spending the extra $230. If the screen does interfere with the sun visors, has anyone tried trimming the sun visors?

It does interfere with the visors. You can do dash mount without too much hassle. I think it’s Anvil overland has a mount for their dash bar or Wolfbox makes one as well. Just complicates things with running wiring. Only other option is to figure out how much spacer you need from the big box store and longer bolts for the 179 mount. Having said that, I would not install any other one. The trade off of no visors for the quality of camera it is is totally worth it. I haven’t done a huge amount of mods to this Jeep yet but that is probably my most favorite so far.

I already had the bulletpoint drivers side mount, so I used their parts (passenger side mount with standard arm and wolfbox mount) and have been pretty happy with it. you do get a bit of glare at times, but i'm ok with that for being able to easily see out of the window now.

As already stated, yes it will.

The G930 is much easier to get to fit without hitting the visors, but you'll only get 2 cameras. If you're not needing the third camera the G930 is a better option for our trucks. Only down side is, for some stupid reason Wolfbox doesn't offer a direct mount kit to fit a G930 into the Gladi, so you have a couple options;

Option 1) order a #179 mount kit for the G900 and a #1 kit for the G930. Use the mirror backplate from the #1 kit and fit it to the #179 kit from the G900.

Option 2) order a #179 mount kit and relocate/extend the holes on the mirror backplate to fit the G930. The two mirrors use a similar bolt pattern, but the G930 is slightly smaller so the holes don't quite line up.

Even with the G930 you'll still hit the visors, but you can angle the mirror a little more to clear, use washers to lower the mirror to gain clarance, or you can file the mount to clock the mirror a tad to the passenger side. If I can ever remember to, I'm going to do a write up on how to file the mount to clock the mirror.

I love the Wolfbox mirrors, but I find it just stupid that they don't offer a direct OEM mount kit for the G930 in the Jeep, which was specifically designed for vehicles with a smaller windshield and less room. Instead they keep pushing for their flagship model mirror which DOESN'T FIT PROPERLY. I also find it stupid that their flagship 3 camera model that they advertise for off road, doesn't properly fit the most popular off road platform. To me this means they aren't actually paying attention to the markets they are tying to target.

So ended up ordering the short dash bar from anvil overland along with the wolfbox mount. Didn't want to spend the money but figured the dash bar may come in handy to mount other things. Jeepvana on youtube convinced me. After watching his wolfbox install, the screen does look better mounted on top of the dash.
Thanks for the replies.

So far I installed the anvil overland mounts and the wolfbox screen. Took a little adjusting to get it where I wanted it but overall happy with where its mounted. Still have to wire it up and mount the cameras.

Suggestion on mounting cameras. Mock it up with some folded over duct tape before you use the adhesive pad. I had to move mine around a few times before I was satisfied. Look at them day and night before you finalize.
