Sarcastic title, but I did get rear ended this morning; you should see the other car! Really though I should have taken pictures of the other car too. The JT took it like a champ and I'd guess the car that hit me wasn't going more than 20-25 MPH.

The only piece that mildly concerned me was the function of the park assist sensors but they seem fine.

Someone once did that to me and the only thing that saved my ass (get it) was my hitch tongue which caught his bumper cross member perfectly. He’s lucky his ratty old Audi was dropped just enough and I’m lucky I had it on that day. I had just stopped for a light and released some but not all brake pressure so I moved forward about a foot under duress but no rock’em sock’em sheet metal and plastic.

Good deal for you. No go buy a can of rustoleum gloss black and keep it moving.

The tow hitch is one of the best pieces of protection you can get for your truck...even if you don’t tow..

Glad your truck is fine, I would still get insurance to check it out. You never know what happened underneath due to the impact. Better to get the entire tow hitch replaced to make sure when you use it you wont have issues. I know it most likely wont have any damage but since its not your fault and a brand new car IMO I would get it checked out to be safe.
