It's come to my attention that the fabric interior doesn't come with the fold down rear seat armrest.
Would anyone in the Forum have a reasonable facsimile that could be added? I will have rear seat passengers often and would hate to not have that available to them...
Thanks in advance...

I don't know of anything the aftermarket or Jeep can offer.

Maybe search the inter webs for wrecks and buy the rear seat out of that?

You get cup holders in the floor behind the console but nothing for them to put their arms on.

This is about as close as I could find. - https://www.amazon.com/Timorn-Armre...s=rear+console+armrest&qid=1632413573&sr=8-13 You would have to stack a couple of them or find something to use underneath to raise it up. I figure you could find a way to anchor it with the seatbelt/LATCH system in the back but not sure about the front. Might be worth a try if you don't want to totally start from scratch.

edit: that cushion is only like 4" tall so you would definitely need something underneath. I am surprised there's not much already on the market for this.

That would be weird I think with a cloth front and leather back seat... Might set up some jealousies... LOL

Why would Jeep not keep the arm rest for the cloth seats? It is literally foam wrapped in either leather or cloth.... Was this the justification for the extra $1000+ upgrade to the leather?

Could be something like that. I was pretty bummed when I found out...
But, I get the pilot seat so haha....
I do need something to accommodate though...

Another good option would be to find a set people have taken out. Here in NC we have a shop called Rubitrux ( www.rubitrux.com ) that do tons of jeep conversions and sell brand new take offs. I have been using them to get great deals on Jeep upgrades for years. Id check them out and see if they anything or if you have a shop like it might be a good bet and use that as an excuse to upgrade the fronts as well!

You could always get the leather rear take-outs and then buy seat covers for all four. No one would be the wiser.
