The dreaded rear frame-side end link is starting to go bad. You can see the bolt starting to sag in the photos. My question, has anyone found a solution for this? I am thinking of getting some steel bar and making a doubler plate for it. I cannot justify spending upwards of a grand for a swaybar relocation from antirock or teraflex.

what causes this? Just general wear and tare or is this from inferior aftermarket parts or something?

Search the forums, it's a common problem. I have my endlinks at the right length for my shocks but it still happens due to the inferior thickness of the metal at that location. I wouldn't say metalcloak, bilstein, and clayton offroad are inferior... lol

If you can weld, or know someone that can, you can weld washers to each side of the mount, clean up and then Rust-oleum black on everything and bolt back up.

Make sure you use extra heavy washers, not thin fender washers.

I bought some steel bar from Lowe's and made a sandwich. It's a bit crude, but it's been working.

That’s one way to do it…
I was gonna do the method you suggested, and actually had the steel plate in my garage! And then I realized my end links were not long enough for the falcons I ordered anyways. So… here we are lol.
