Rear window lock

Picked up the gladiator a few days ago and have a question regarding the window lockout toggle in the center dash. Is it supposed to freely spin up or down into either position? Because on mine it will not lockout the rear controls unless I actually push and hold the toggle down. Only then will it lockout the controls. But as soon as I release pressure the controls work again.

Yeah it’s suppose to be a toggle. Down for locked out, up for unlocked. Yours isn’t working correctly.
