Anyone know if there is a company that makes a rear wind breaker/wind jammer for behind the back seats for the JT? Or is there something that works for it? My girls keep crouching down on the freeways in the back seats when the top sunshade is on and even with the solid doors are on with all windows rolled up. There are tons of top sunshades but I can’t find anything for behind the back seat.

I keep a baseball cap for each family member in the Jeep for such events.
Still never had a hard top on any Jeep.

What a great question! I run 10 months a year with the back window out (stock soft top up) but the G Kids are not in it that much! Sonds like a great idea for someone to bring to market.

I know this is going to sound like hogwash but the SpiderWebShade (or one of it's counterparts) really changes the way wind flows through the cab. The wind definitely still comes through going down the highway but it's less harsh than without it.

I am using a full length (front/rear) Alien Shade for the top but it's still windy in the back. My girls have long curly hair and they are in their early teens. Caps and beanies, don't work well for them after they get their hair did in the morning and can tangle it all up. Hoodie probably best option for colder weather, but they still prefer not to mess up their hair. And you can't wear hoodies in the summer time, especially in Arizona. :)

Now if there was a removable option for the rear that you can fold up and throw under the back seat when not needed, that would be sweet !!

Front freedom panels on, rear roof off and all doors on was the best experience I had as far as wind goes in the cab.

But yeah, you take the roof off its going to be windy. Not being sarcastic but the Jeep already has a solution for the problem. It is called the roof.

I did 6 hours with all the doors off and roof off at highway speeds. I did have the spider shade thingy on so I wouldn't burn to a crisp. That was terrifying and I felt like I was going to get sucked out of the car every time a semi passed me.
