As stated previously my pump went out 4 March and was towed to the dealer 6 March. They have replace the entire fuel system, test drove it and was getting a code for over fuel over pressure. The back and forth between the service tech and the mechanical engineers at jeep is extremely slow.

The engineer finally recommended them replace the mass air flow sensor, they replaced it and it appears the truck shit another HPFP🤦‍♂️. They can’t figure it out.

its almost been two months without my truck. I have been consistently asking for updates and it’s like pulling teeth to get any updates. I’ve gone in probably 6 times and not once has the tech been actively working it. Two visits a week apart and I took pictures of the engine bay….. nothing changed, all the loose disconnected bits were in the exact same locations.
anybody have any input or recommendations on how to get them to finish the project? I’m military and have a mandatory move from San Antonio to South Dakota in about 45 days and need to take my vehicle with me🤬

I appreciate any input you have.

Hey G0merP, sorry you, too, have to deal with this. I had the same problem on my 21 JTRD on Feb 25 and didn't get everything fixed until 4/11/25. I had my Jeep towed to a local diesel shop since the local Jeep techs were backlogged over 1+ month. I then had it towed to my local Jeep dealership since it was apparently a major (warranty) issue. I then had the Jeep towed to a different dealership that was able to get my Gladiator diagnosed and subsequently repaired.

Everything seems fully fixed and just as good as new, having put a few hundred miles on the odometer since my HPFP failed and the fuel system components were replaced. I'm sharing the repair sheet list of items replaced (all under warranty) if it might help you ask more detailed questions of your service center.

Here's what was done to repair my Jeep from HPFP failure (stalled out doing 60mph on the highway in my case):

Installed: PKG PART: FUEL PUMP/LEVEL UNIT QTY: 1
Installed: ORING: FUEL INJECTOR QTY: 6
Installed: Rail: Fuel QTY: 1
Core Chg: Deposit: Fuel
Installed: O RING: NONE QTY: 1
Installed: PUMP: FUEL INJECTION QTY: 1
Installed: GASKET: EGR TUBE QTY: 1
Installed: LABEL: AUTHORIZED MODIFICATION QTY: 1
Installed: RECALL KIT QTY: 1
Installed: TUBE: FUEL SUPPLY QTY: 1
Installed: INJECTOR: FUEL QTY: 6
Installed: RAIL: FUEL QTY: 1
Installed: FILTER KI: FUEL/WATER SEPARATO QTY: 1
Installed: GASKET: EGR TURBE QTY: 1
Installed: TUBE: FUEL SUPPLY QTY: 1

ACCESSED AND REPLACED HIGH PRESSURE FUEL PUMP
ACCESSED AND REPLACED FUEL INJECTORS
ACCESSED AND REPLACED HIGH PRESSURE FUEL LINES
ACCESSED AND REPLACED FUEL RAILS.
REMOVED DRAINED AND CLEANED FUEL TANK AS WELL AS REPLACED IN TANK FUEL PUMP.
REPLACED FUEL FILTER.
ACCESSED AND CLEANED FUEL LINES
PERFORMED ALL NECESSARY COMPUTER RESETS AND TEST DROVE VEHICLE
VEHICLE IS PERFORMING AS DESIGNED

Total cost to repair (cost to Stellantis) was over $8,000. I also opted to have the oil and oil filter changed as an additional precaution, but likely not needed.

Hope this helps and good luck getting your ride back on the road!

I appreciate any input you have.
In some states, the dealer has 30 days to make the repair, or you may qualify for a buyback. That's assuming your Jeep is still under warranty.

Have you used a lubricity fuel treatment like Diesel Service or the like?

I have not added anything, probably need to do a little research on that.

I’ve also used lube but the diesel service is something that I’ve used all the way back to the early 90s and it’s never let me down. The diesel service actually makes the motor run quieter meaning the clattering run smoother and if you can differentiate a slight mile per hour increase supposedly it’s there..
