Thanks for the reply!!!
Just an update for anyone looking at these. I installed the passenger side today. Took a little longer because I went a head and cut the plastic bumper support and the metal bumper support to fit the slide so I could leave them installed. Thus, instead of throwing them aside like the directions kind of imply, I reused them in a modified state. The bumper has good support as a result, but not sure it is enough better to warrant the extra work. However, on the drivers side I will utilize the plastic support again for sure because getting it cut to allow the slide to mount was not that hard AND once installed back into the bumper I could use it as a guide of where I needed to cut the thin bumper skin. This worked great.

Installed these about a year ago and last month they saved my rear end. Came down on a rock (didn't realize til after) and as you can see I got some scuffs on the fender flare, bed slider (also dented), and the Rubicon steel bumper. Some minor denting on the bed slider (none on the bumper) but I'll take that over body damage. Other than the dents and small scuffs, the bed slider had no other damage and was not tweaked. It did its job.

Did y’all take the plastic bumper off to cut it, or leave it on the jeep?

I left mine on and just used a small cutoff disc. Then trimmed the fuzz with a razor blade.

Yeah I left the bumper on too. I just used a utility knife to cut the plastic. Have fun!

Good. I’m feeling better. I ordered them earlier!
