There are LOTS of post about this to look through.

I did not know the "liberty" existed and it didn't pull up as an option for me. I installed the "elite" and it only came with the cord that connects to the box and nothing that connects to the vehicle. So I am confident you will need a connector for the vehicle. You will need the black end for the Redarc (included) and the gray side for the vehicle. I had to cut both of then and splice the matching colors.

Also I would not order for Etrailer. 2 weeks ago my order sat in limbo for 7 days and never shipped even though it was in stock. I got it form 4wd.com in 2 days after I canceled an ordered from them.

Yeah two years ago I installed the Elite into a Gladiator and used the Ram harness (TPH-020) by swapping two pins in it because there was nothing available yet for JT specifically.

Now it appears that they are listing these kits for Gladiator specifically so I guess my main question is does a guy still have to use the Ram harness and modify it, or do you actually get a JT harness in the kit for that additional price they're charging? Looks like there's a roughly $30 price increase for the Gladiator specific "kit". Wonder if that's due to a harness?
