Redarc trailer breaking remote know

Going to install a Redarc trailer brake system. My question is where did you mount the remote knob?
I knows it's pretty small. Just looking for ideas.

If you put it in the factory location you will need this tool

Lots of times Amazon will also have them used as it is something you use once and people use them then return them.

Thats good to know. But I use that 12vdc socket to power up different items. So I will have to locate iy else where. I think its going to be under and to the right of the push to start button.

Make sure you have enough depth for the rest of the button. I know there is a video showing where to put it in that location. I intended to eventually put my power outlet in the back of the console where it would be if I had the inverter. Quadratec (and Amazon ) carry a extension that makes the wiring plu and play.

I do have the inverter. I've had my dash all apart I had to add a front camera so I'll double check the space behind where ever I put it.
