Just installed this product…Anyone with the rugged ridge slim chop DRL’s have extra loud relays also? I know they make noise, but dear god these are REALLY really loud

I've had both the slim chop lights and currently I'm using the full fender kit. Both use the same lights, and I swapped them when I went to the full fender, both sets we're noisy, but not NEARLY that bad! I would swap those, almost sounds like a short.

I figured they used a cheap relay and I could just replace it, never did get around to it.

Haha glad I’m not the only one then. I plugged them in before installing to make sure they worked and noticed they were loud, but seem a lot louder now that they’re zip tied up in the fender well. I may do exactly what you said and swap relays. If that doesn’t fix it, I may just go a whole different option. Just glad I got away from the halogen bulbs and all led

I wonder if they're rattling against the sheet metal or something, in the video I took, they're noisy, but the one you shared is MUCH worse.

This was my next thought. Definitely going to check this when the weather is above 10 degrees ?

Mine makes a loud audible click but yours sounds like a buzz. It does sound like vibration against metal or something.

Thanks, I think so too. Zip tied the relay in a bad spot

Did you use the large sleeve that can be heat shrunk? That would keep a soft layer between the relay and metal.
I did not, I thought the size of the sleeve was a little absurd. Lol maybe I should go back and throw it on
