I've been eyeing pretty fully-optioned Rubicons for a few months, skipping over any vehicle not having any of these:
What would be a good offer to make on similar inventory? The few phone calls I've had with local dealers doesn't seem to indicate a willing to budge from their advertised price. Some are as little as $1.8k below to as much as $4.5k below MSRP.
A couple dealers in the Rocky Mountain area have taken the liberty to add lifts, tires, etc to some of the vehicles on their lot. There is one that I like that has 35s preinstalled. Problem is that they raised the MSRP by $2599, not including the $995 upgraded wheel option listed on the sticker...wheels I'll never see. Seems excessive.
A lot of other threads here mention getting a vehicle for x% "below invoice"...how do you know the invoice price?
After reading up on car buying, I was planning on having the most purchasing power at the end of the year, or at least when the 2021 models come out. But with the current situation, maybe that's now? I purchased my first new vehicle in 2008, had it ever since. So it's an unfamiliar process for me. Appreciate any advice.
