Remote Start

Hello!! I am being told by Chrysler that the removed remote start completely in Gladiators after 2021 due to a sensor issue. Has anyone ever used any aftermarket? If so, do you have any issues conflicting with other systems? I have a 24 Gladiator Mojave.

I use the StartX system with no issues whatsoever. I even have the thing to start it from my phone. I love it.

Not offered on the 24 Gladiator yet. Only the 24 wrangler.

Who knows. Chrysler said they were having an issue with remote start and a sensor. Makes no sense as the Wrangler still has it.

Either one. I do not have either. It was advertised where I purchased it but it does not have it. They said they couldn't get parts. I called another dealer who in turn called Crysler and they were told they didn't make them anymore.

Do you have a manual transmission? What does your window sticker and build sheet say?

Generally you need the convenience group option to get remote start on a automatic.

I do not have that package. It was advertised on the website. When I went to look at it, I did not think to look for remote start as I have never run into this before. The window sticker only has the Customer Preferred 24D that was added as an option.
I will pay to have it installed, but I am being told it's discontinued. As I am finding out, that is not the case.

Ok, now things are starting to make sense. Getting the OEM remote start after the fact is impossible now and your dealer is not lying. Early on, it was offered as a MOPAR accessory that a dealer could install, but that was dropped a few years ago.

You are going to need to go aftermarket.

Makes sense. I haven't found one yet for the 2024
