Anyone have any experience removing the wiper cowl between the hood and the windshield? I removed both side cowls, the wipers and plastic section, along with the 6 plastic push pins just under the back side of the hood lip. I was able to lift up the front slightly for the section I want to remove but did not want to force it. Looks like there might be more plastic pins or bolts between cowl and windshield but not sure. If you’re wonder why, I’m trying to install vinyl wrap on this section and would prefer the section off rather than leaning over in an awkward position. I can definitely do it while on the vehicle but would be 100x easier if I can have the piece in front of me on a table.

If I remember correctly it's just clipped in with metal spring clips that are pushed over the plastic tabs of the cowel panel. A trim removal tool will help.
Edit: found this video. I have not watched it though.

I removed mine yesterday and started from the driver's side.

OMG I want to take that mallet and smack her in the head. Dropping/tossing metal items on the hood with no towel down ?

Not the black plastic trim piece….i already have that removed no problem. It’s the painted piece around it that it attaches to that I’m trying to remove.

Right there with you... wow... I wanted to choke her out and tenderize her with the mallet... her thinking " I want to scratch , dent and abuse my Jeep inorder to remove parts and replace them with pretty , shinny things".

I tried to watch it through and instantly thought that same thing........ really? Just drop that stuff on the hood? Trail or road damage is one thing, but tossing stuff on the hood?
Even an old t-shirt on the hood is better than nothing - anything.
I also got an idea of her skill level watching and figured - yeah, I get it.
