Replacing Sport S Coil Springs and Shocks with Rubicon Fox Shocks and Coil Springs

Question? Has anyone replaced Gladiator Sport S Shocks and Coil Springs with Fox Shocks and Coil Springs from a Rubicon? This weekend I’m hoping to swap out my Sport S Coil springs and shocks with Rubicon Fox Shocks and Coil Springs. One video I watched said to match the higher coil spring number on the tag from my sport to he higher number on the rubicon coil spring then place the rubicon higher number where the sport coil came off of. Does this sound correct? The rear springs rubicon springs seem the same size but it looks the front springs might be a different height?? Thanks in advance!!

If you want the stiffest set, you will want to get the springs and shocks from a Rubicon that has a hardtop and metal bumper.

Depends on how much weight one is adding, or how stiff to make the front.

I am going to go on a limb here, but the diesel springs were pretty damn soft for the diesel, my gut tells me they would be a slightly firmer spring for a gas set and be closer to what aftermarket rates are.

Are you swapping springs hoping for a little lift? Or for some other reason?

He gave me his steel bumper, winch plate and skid plate, I was concerned about the weight so he gave me his coils and shocks, great neighbor!!

I have Synergy 2 inch lift springs on the way to replace my Mopar 2 inch lift springs. I might eventually have a spare set. The Mopar springs sit just fine, just looking for a better ride with the Synergy dual rates.

I used the fog lights out of my old bumper had bought brackets, but they were not LED, I had to retro fit the brackets out of my old bumper. Thanks for all the help everyone, Shocks and springs went in today without a hitch!!
