Retaining tow rating with lift and tires

I keep hearing its a cooling problem preventing the diesel Gladiator from having higher tow ratings but I am surprised the engineers cant come up with a solution to redirect airflow from under or over the motor. Why not have a big hood scoop or scoops under the front somehow. We need someone smart like Gale Banks to sort this out..

There was an interview with a Jeep Engineer published a while back. There's not enough space in the front end to provide adequate cooling for the diesel to handle a higher payload. It would require a redesign that would dramatically change the Jeep grill and front end. They opted not to do that and did the best they could with what they had to work with.
